The story of our tsipouro gold begins at the highlands of Northern Greece, with our father's deep desire to experiment with a cultivation that everyone doubted would thrive in the harsh weather conditions of Kato Nevrokopi, which in winter has recorded up to -36 degrees! Defying the opinions of others, true to his innovative thinking, he put down the first roots, the hobby developed into a "meraki" as we Greeks say, and now he monopolizes his time, ensuring that the grapes will be of high quality.

Having already completed 15 years of life, the vineyard is still growing. We patiently wait for the right time to harvest, when the grapes will be fully ripe and balanced in taste. The climate is an ally in this effort. Kato Nevrokopi is perhaps the only place in Greece where the cold is the biggest asset for its two outstanding PDO products, potatoes and tsipouro. The strict selection of grapes ~literally bunch by bunch!~ their treatment with the traditional method of crushing, and the removal of any unnecessary element that would alter the result, give tsipouro a unique taste.

Of course, the experimentation continued with new grape varieties and in parallel with the direction of aging, combining tradition with innovation to create a truly unique tsipouro, which when we put it in the glass for the first time to taste it, it was as if the whole of the Sun got into it! Its golden appearance gave its name and that's how our tsipouro gold was born! Smoky, strong, with fine flavors, tastes like brandy, made for people who are looking for something special...

After the first bottling, as art lovers, we created our first series of paintings to accompany our tsipouro, giving a dominant role to the art and not just a label, something that has never been done before in the whole world, and is our own proprietary idea. All collections are released once, each collection is inspired by all that we love, and are main pillars in our life, such as poetry, nature, art, religion, science, and each bottle has its own unique painting . For us, art and the vineyard go hand in hand.

Enjoy our tsipouro gold...
